George Pitsiulak

George Pitsiulak began carving in 1947. He is a self-taught carver who prefers to work with stone. his favourite subjects to carve are polar bears and seals.
George's wife Nellie is a carver and crafts artist. A number of their children are also artists, including: their daughter Jeannie Padluq, and their sons Sammy, Charlie, Kolola, Simata, Donny and Mark Iola Pitsiulak.
