Inuit Artist Print Workbook married to Phillipa Aningnerk, brother of Ruth Qaulluaryuk, Mark Uqayuttuq, Barnabus Oosuah, son of Luke Anguhadluq and Marion Tuu'luq, father of Sandy Iksiraq (by adoption) has been one of the mainstays of the print program at the Sanavik Coop. he started in 1970 and continues his participation. thomas is adept at almost all techniques, including stone block cutting. From 1976, he was a dedicated manager of the print shop. ----- Thomas Iksiraq, who is the leader for the Baker Lake (B.L.) Printmakers' Society, was in Vancouver for the Baker Lake Print Exhibition opening and symposium. He has exceptional originality in colours, shapes and compositions. Although he is busy with his jobs as an interpretor in the classroom, as treasurer for B.L. Printmakers' Society and as an executive member for a number of committees in town, he tries to make time to produce his own works. -------------
