OWL AND LEMMINGS

Note:
Sheokjuk began carving ivory miniatures in 1946 following his move from Cape Dorset/Kinngait to a camp in Kimmirut. Sheokjuk quickly became known for his talent; the quality of his ivory carvings were unlike any other artist's, notably his human figures and animals.
