Note:
Makituk created ceramic works during the experimental period of the 1960's in the Arctic. The ceramics project was initiated in Cape Dorset and moved to Rankin Inlet shortly thereafter. In 1967, Makituk was one of two Dorset artists selected to have their works displayed in the International Exhibition of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy.
